This complexity makes it more difficulty to plan your network budget and stick to it. For the end costumer this results in increased costs due to the time it takes to gather the necessary information and manage all the contracts.

Value-added resellers (VARs) often contribute to a lack of pricing transparency by not disclosing the total cost breakdown. Are there other complications that can arise when partnering with multiple VARs?

Partnering with multiple VARs can be challenging and confusing for administrators and end users in terms of processes. There’s more to keep track of, which makes it more complex and time-consuming. As multi-year contracts may ease negotiation, the risk is that changing to alternative Cisco Partner to provide services in co-delivery (PSS) can be challenging during the coverage period, as all of the entitlement rights of a PSS contract is the partner, and Cisco can only authorize changes to service initiated by the entitled partner. This process, known as mid-term takeover, can take more than four weeks.

Gartner has revealed that companies can save 20-60% by opting for third-party maintenance (TPM) over Smart Net. How does TPM provide these savings?

The savings are realized in several ways.
